The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. -St. Augustine
Our trip to Belize, Honduras, and Mexico was quite an adventure, even without my 102 degree fever (blecch). We saw plenty of monkeys, but thankfully no tarantulas!
A “Jesus Christ” bird in Orange Walk, Belize.
The temple of the Jaguar in Lamanai, Belize. Grrr…
The start of our climb of the main pyramid. It was more than a little scary coming down!
The Mask Temple. I have a sneaking suspicion this is all restoration, but it’s still nifty.
Two very soggy explorers. Rain in the rain forest? What the heck!
Love, love, love that last picture of you and your sweet pea. I'm sorry you were not feeling well, but it sure looks like a fabulous trip.
Tricia- Thanks! I got through Belize before the fever hit so I got to traipse through the jungle with only a sore throat. I've trekked through ruins with much worse!
Wow! Your pictures are amazing. Lucky little cutie to get to take such great vacations already!
Love the new look of your blog! Hope you are feeling better… my 8 yr old has been rockin' a 102 fever for the past 3 days… ugh!
Wow, you two really look alike!
I'm jealous you got to go to Belize.
Awesome pix, thanks for sharing! Looks like it was a great trip. Hope you're feeling better.
Wonderful pictures, and a wonderful blog you have here,
Thanks for stopping by and joining my followers,
Yvonne,
Love the St. Augustine quote!
I can't imagine making such a trip with a little one. But maybe someday when my kids are grown up a bit I can travel again. 🙂
Wow! Love the pictures. It looks like you had a great time.
Aww! That's adorable! And what a wonderful adventure.
