Take a second to think about writers you
know, like the critique partner who works with you to
improve your manuscript. The writing friend who listens,
supports and keeps you strong when times are tough. The
author who generously offers council, advice and inspiration
when asked.

Kindness ROCKS!
To commemorate the release of their book
The

participating too!

So today I’m blitzing both Gary Corby and Renee Yancy.
Without Gary, who writes historical mysteries set in Ancient Greece and blogs at A Dead Man Fell From the Sky, I’d be sitting on two dead novels. It’s a crime (pun intended) for a library not to have his books, and while the big library in town has both The Pericles Commission and The Ionia Sanction, my local branch didn’t own either. So I ordered a copy of both to donate!
And to the best crit partner in the world, Renee Yancy, I’m sending a snazzy package of writerly treats. Without Renee, my novels would be overrun with the word “just” and probably make as much sense as a book about snow written in Swahili.
Do you know someone special that you’d like
to randomly acknowledge?

Certainly shall, the hopping over I mean. :0)
I'm having fun seeing who everyone picked for their RAOK. 😀
I'm off to check out your selectees.
Great choices! My writing would be so much less without my crit buddies – they're really golden 🙂
Such a cool idea. I have a great crit partner who just gave me some fast and friendly feedback, so thanks to her, Marsha Sigman!
Love your choices! I won one of Corby's ARCs from you in the past and now I'm hooked on his series. Can't wait to read the new book!
Yay for RAOK!! Great shout-outs, Stephanie! 🙂
What a great RAOK gift! I know he's going to be thrilled you're so passionate about his books!
And writerly treats? That had YUM all over it!
Thanks so much for joining in & your generosity!!
Angela
Stephanie, your kindness well exceeds my assistance. Thank you!
I've just worked out how Stina discovered my blog.
Congrats, Gary and Renee! I love the idea of donating books to the library. And thanks, Stephanie, for spreading the joy today!

This must be the nicest blog fest I've ever done. I smile at every post I read. It's nice too, because I've found your site which I love. Lucky Gary and Renee! I'll pop over and say hello to them too.
Thank you, Stephanie! You have certainly made my day! I'm very glad to know that I have helped you with the crits. And I'm looking forward to the next book on the Genghis Girls!
Susan–Thanks so much for stopping by!
Renee–You're so welcome! Your crits are amazing!
I would actually be fascinated by a book about snow written in Swahili. If I could read it, that is. 🙂
Yay RAOK!
